Uwe Schenker-Primus was born in 1974 in Rosenheim.
His experiences  with the Windsbacher Knabenchor and its conductor KMD K. -F. Beringer prepared the ground for his way on the concert stage.
He finished his studies with Prof. Monika Bürgener  at the Hochschule für Musik Würzburg in 2006. In his years of study he performed different Roles (Figaro, Masetto, Rodomonte, Father in Cendrillon) on stages like Mainfrankentheater Würzburg, Kammeroper München, Stadttheater Fürth.
He won prices in different competitions. In 2001 as a stipendiary of the  Wagnerverband, in 2002 as a „stipendiary of the Deutschen Bühnengesellschaft“, in 2003 as Finalist in the  Mozart-Competition  Wiesbaden, in 2004 in the Armin-Knab Song-Competition Würzburg, in 2006 in the official international Mozart-Competition Würzburg.
He is singing the music of Monteverdi (Marienvesper), Bach (The Passions Arias and Jesus, Christmas Oratorio), Mendelssohn (Paulus, Elias), Orff (Carmina Burana) as well as contamporary music like Penderecki (St. Luke Passion), Adams (the wound dresser) or Tippett (A child of our time) with conductors like Jörg Straube (Hannover),   Markus Poschner (Berlin) , Daniel Klajner (Mulhouse), Jonathan Schiffmann (Avignon) and was invited to the Rheingaufestival“ Wiesbaden, „Mozartfest“ Würzburg, „Kissinger Sommer“  and „Stimmenfestival“ Lörrach.
He released the  „Baritone Songs“ of the Composers Pfitzner and Korngold at the Naxos-Label.
From 2005-09 he had sung at the Mainfrankentheater Würzburg Roles like Shaunard, Valentin, Guglielmo, Papageno, Father in „Hänsel und Gretel“, Ping, Sagrestano, and Wolfram in Tannhäuser.
In 2009 he was engaged to the „Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar“, singing Don Giovanni, Silvio, Eugen Onegin, Conte Almaviva, Danilo, Germont.
He also was invited to Opera houses and festivals like Deutsche Oper Berlin, Staatsoperette Dresden or the Steinbruch St. Margarethen.
